Hi, I don't normally see words or anything come to me but the one day I was praying/talking to God and I saw the words 'bride of Isaac'  I was wondering if anybody would know what God could be telling me?  My dilemma is do I search for a husband or is God trying to say that He will find a husband for me, I must just trust Him.  Below is a portion of a study somebody wrote  - could God just be telling me what this person is saying i.e. my heart must remain steadfast on doing God's will?  Again, must I just concentrate on doing God's will and not try to find a husband or must I also put in a bit of effort to try and find somebody?  If anybody has any wisdom to impart, I would appreciate it.  Thanks!

In Genesis 24:21, the servant of Abraham endured the long journey ("derek" = a course of

life) riding on his camels (the trials and tests of life) and he was able to see and know ("yadah"),

the prosperous journey of God. Through his steadfastness and confidence to the end (Hebrews

3:14), he was able to fulfill the desire of Abraham (a type of God the Father) and find and meet

Rebekah (a type of Bride of Christ) the bride of Isaac (a type of Jesus, the bridegroom). As

Christians, our hearts' desire should be to remain steadfast on doing the will of God through the

trials and tribulations of life. By doing so, we will be like Eliezer and will be able to keep our eyes

and hearts fixed on remaining faithful to Jesus, our Bridegroom, so that we may be found worthy

to be His Bride.

Hi, I read what you said.  I had a dream back in 1985 that I am to marry my bride who has dark shoulder length hair, brown eyes, Italian-American or really is Italian or appears to be.  Around my height, a Christian woman with silver cross necklace.

Well, before all this happened in my dream, I asked God to help me find my wife that January 1985.   I still have not found her yet but um, you brought up "Bride of Isaac"... I read what God guided me to read, Genesis chapter 24 on how to find my bride.  I read how and got what God was saying to me that I must pray for clues.  I did ask God before I went to bed and I got all that clue.  What God is telling you that it is the man's responsiblity to go out there and find a wife.  If you know about Adam who tried to find his kindness and could not.  God brought Eve to Adam.  Ok, of course it says in Proverbs 18:22 that a man find a wife is good thing and blessed.  Ok, we got that part however, to be noticed, it is best you go out there and be noticed.  If you stay home daily, no one will know you even exist!

What I am saying is that be out there, get involved with your church, church activities, does your church has singles ministry?  Go to that.  If not, be involved or even go to singles Christian conferences, etc.  It will happen.

I wrote my book 12 years ago and I mentioned the same advice is to go out there like Rebekah did go out there and do something other than looking for a man.  Instead someone did find her.

In short, be out there.  Be yourself.  Be known out there.  A woman can find a man when she is not looking but there is a but.  She can be out there as part of her search without looking for a man.  Get my meaning?  I pray you will be found by a Christian man soon!  God bless!
